Sonia is ignorant of Andhra history: Jagan

In a fresh offensive against Congress president Sonia Gandhi, YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said Sonia Gandhi was ignorant of the history of Andhra Pradesh. Blowing conch for united Andhra Pradesh, Jagan, during his speech in 'Samaikya Sankharaavam', said Sonia did not know the sacrifices behind the formation of Visalandhra.
“Raavi Narayanareddy, the martyr of Telangana raised slogan as Veera Telangana (warriors’ Telangana) but not Vidi Telangana (separate Telangana). Has she (Sonia) ever heard of Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, who sacrificed chief ministership to Hyderabad state, for united Andhra Pradesh?” he said, while making references to horde of leaders from both regions including Potti Sreeramulu and Dr Jayasurya.
He also said Sonia could not understand the pain of division.
“She got married to Rajiv Gandhi in 1968 and she has been imbibed into the Indian soul after getting Indian citizenship in 1983. What would be her feelings, if the people like her, who were given Indian citizenship, are asked to leave the country after withdrawing the citizenships? And how violently Congress leaders will react to it?,” Jagan said.
He reiterated that Sonia intrigued to split Andhra Pradesh so as to make her son Rahul the prime minister. He dared her not to play with the lives of Telugu people just to crown her son.  He started his elaborate speech with a commemoration note to the recent victims of rain fury.
