King George Hospital conducted an awareness programme for patients and attendants on stroke prevention on the occasion of World Stroke Day on Tuesday. Superintendent M. Madhusudhana Babu, HoD of Neurology G. Butchiraju, associate professors Gopi and Vaddadi Srinivas, physician N.A.V.S.K. Ravikumar spoke and interacted with the gathering.
The patients and attendants were told that stroke was the second leading cause of death in the world and 15 million people suffer stroke every year. SevenHills Hospital conducted a Stroke Walk on the beach road.
